BMO Blue Rewards, Inc. ("Blue Rewards") may, from time to time, make certain offers available (each, a "Card Offer") which allow members of the Blue Rewards Program ("Members", "you", or "your") to earn Blue Points ("Points") on qualifying purchases at participating brands made with an eligible debit and/or credit card that is linked to your Blue Rewards Member account ("Member Account") and the unique Member number assigned to you ("Member Number"). Please carefully review these terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions"). By submitting a request to link an Eligible Card (as defined below) and/or participating in any Card Offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Additionally, your participation in each Card Offer is subject to the specific terms applicable to the Card Offer (the "Card Offer Terms"), which can be viewed on the Card Offer's details page.
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, "Card Offers" include only those offers that can be viewed on the Blue Rewards Card Offers details page. Offers that are not visible on the Blue Rewards Card Offers details page, including offers that allow members to earn Points on qualifying purchases at a particular brand at a consistent base earning rate, are subject to their own terms and conditions which can be viewed on the partner's details page for the applicable brand.
Card Offers are available to Blue Rewards members with a Canadian-issued, Canadian dollar (i) Bank of Montreal ("BMO") issued personal or small business Mastercard or Visa credit card (each a "BMO Credit Card"); (ii) a BMO issued personal chequing account debit card (a "BMO Debit Card") and/or (iii) any other Mastercard credit card (a "Non-BMO Mastercard"). BMO Credit Cards and BMO Debit Cards will be collectively referred to as "BMO Payment Cards". BMO Payment Cards and Non-BMO Mastercards will be collectively referred to as "Eligible Cards". The following credit card products are not eligible for Card Offers, including but not limited to: prepaid credit cards, Diners Club credit cards, and Credit Line for Business Mastercard.
An Eligible Card must first be linked to a valid Member Number, in accordance with one of the linking processes set out below, before it can be used to participate in a Card Offer. A BMO Credit Card or a Non-BMO Mastercard that is linked to a Member Number is referred to as a "Linked Credit Card". A "Linked Card" means any Linked Credit Card or any BMO Debit Card linked to a Member Number.
BMO Payment Cards are automatically linked to your Member Number, provided BMO has your Member Number on file. No additional registration is required to be eligible for the Card Offers. If BMO does not have your Member Number on file and if you wish to provide BMO with a Member Number or update the Member Number on file, call BMO at 1-877-225-5266 or visit your local BMO branch in Canada. BMO accepts calls from Telecommunication Relay Services (TRS) for customers who are deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing. Please allow at least two business days for your valid Member Number to be linked. You can also call BMO or visit your local BMO branch in Canada to confirm if BMO has your Member Number or to unlink your Member Number if you no longer wish to participate in Card Offers.
If BMO has your Member Number, any additional BMO Payment Cards issued to you will be automatically linked to your Member Number and you may be presented with different types of Card Offers based on your active BMO Payment Cards.
Non-BMO issued Mastercard credit card must be manually linked to your Member Number at bluerewardscardlink.ca (the "Promotion Website"). You may also visit the Promotion Website to unlink your Member Number if you no longer wish to participate in Card Offers.
To earn Points as part of any Card Offer, you must meet all requirements set out in the applicable Card Offer Terms and comply with these Terms and Conditions. Restrictions on the type of Linked Card that must be used to participate in a Card Offer may apply. For example, certain Card Offers may only be available if you use a Linked Credit Card to make the qualifying purchase(s), while others may only be available if you use a linked BMO Payment Card to make the qualifying purchase(s). Please check each unique Card Offer Terms for specific Card Offer details. Additionally, to make purchases with a BMO Debit Card at an online merchant that uses Debit Mastercard to process online transactions, your BMO Debit Card must have the Mastercard logo on it.
Current Card Offers are listed on the Card Offers page of the Blue Rewards website and/or in the Blue Rewards app and may be revised or removed at any time without notice. If you have a linked BMO Payment Card, you may also access current Card Offers through BMO Online Banking or the BMO Mobile Banking app. Card Offers are subject to availability; once a Card Offer is no longer available (including because its offer period has expired or because it has been removed from the Blue Rewards Card Offers details page), Points will not be awarded for any purchase made after the Card Offer stopped being available. Individual eligibility for a Card Offer may vary. Certain Card Offers may be subject to "opt-in" enrollment before you can participate in the Card Offer. Enrollment in these Card Offers may be limited, including but not limited to time and/or on a "while quantities last" basis. Details about a Card Offer\’s opt-in enrollment requirement (if any) can be viewed on the Card Offer\’s details page.
To qualify for a Card Offer, the eligible spend or purchase transaction(s) as specified in the Card Offer Terms must be made with your Linked Card and posted to your Linked Card account by the unique Card Offer\’s end-date. The posting date for each transaction appears on the account statement for your Linked Card. For example, an online purchase made during the Card Offer period may not qualify if the Linked Card is charged on the shipping date and that date occurs after the Card Offer ends. The minimum qualifying purchase or spend amount includes taxes, shipping and handling, as applicable, unless stated otherwise.
Please allow up to sixty (60) days after the unique Card Offer\’s end-date for Points to be posted to your Member Account. Your Linked Card account must be in good standing at the time the Points are awarded.
Neither Mastercard International Incorporated, Visa Canada Corporation, nor Interac Corp. are responsible for the fulfillment of Card Offers. Purchases made by an authorized user of a supplementary card linked to the Linked Credit Card do not qualify, unless the supplementary card is also linked to the Member Number.
BMO is not responsible for the fulfillment of the Card Offers, unless the Card Offer itself is a BMO offer or if the Card Offer is for a BMO product or service.
Blue Rewards reserves the right to change the Card Offer Terms and to modify, extend or withdraw any Card Offer, for any reason and without notice. Additionally, Blue Rewards reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to suspend, cancel or terminate your eligibility to participate in any Card Offer, your enrollment in any Card Offer, and/or the fulfillment of any Card Offer in which you have participated, with or without notice, including, without limitation, if Blue Rewards determines or otherwise suspects that you have engaged in improper, unlawful or other activity in violation of applicable law or otherwise not in conformance with the Card Offer Terms or these Terms and Conditions.
You agree to the following collection, use, disclosure, sharing and retention of your information, including information related to your Member Account, your Linked Card and transactions processed on your Linked Card:
Blue Rewards reserves the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time by posting a modified version on the Promotion Website. If you do not agree with the current or a modified version of these Terms and Conditions, you must not participate in any Card Offers. Your participation in any Card Offer following the effective date of such change constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as modified.
